Ljudmila is a historian, holding a master's degree from the University of Glaskar in Udmurtia, where she is originally from.
Cooking is a hobby for Ljudmila.
She gained experience in preparing Udmurtian national dishes from her family. After moving to Estonia in 2004, Ljudmila soon began sharing the unique aspects of Udmurtian cuisine with Estonian food enthusiasts, teaching short courses and workshops in Pärnu, Tartu, Tallinn, and other places in Estonia. Ljudmila is one of the founders of the Finnish-Ugric Food Culture Society. In 2017, together with Epp Mihkels, she published a book "Dumplings. Homemade and Delicious" as part of the "100 Dishes" series.
